PROCEDURE

1.PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS
a.

Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

3.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (PUSH START SWITCH - CERTIFICATION ECU [SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY])

a.

Disconnect the G171 push start switch connector.


b.

Disconnect the G170 certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connector.


c.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
G171-5 (SWIL) - G170-20 (SWIL) Always Below 1 Ω
G171-3 (GND) - G170-30 (AGND) Always Below 1 Ω
G171-5 (SWIL) or G170-20 (SWIL) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
G171-3 (GND) or G170-30 (AGND) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
