DESCRIPTION

1.PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS (WASHER RELAY)
a.

Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

Disconnect the A5 windshield wiper relay assembly connector.


b.

Disconnect the A37 windshield washer motor and pump assembly connector.


c.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
A5-1 (+WR) - A37-1 (B) Always Below 1 Ω
A5-7 (-WR) - A37-2 (SW) Always Below 1 Ω
A5-1 (+WR) or A37-1 (B) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
A5-7 (-WR) or A37-2 (SW) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
