When the cable is disconnected / reconnected to the battery terminal, systems temporarily stop operating. However, each system has a function that completes learning the first time the system is used.

Disconnect the generator assembly connector.
Open the terminal cap.
Remove the nut and disconnect the wire harness from the terminal B.
Remove the bolt and separate the wire harness clamp bracket from the generator assembly.
Remove the 2 nuts, bolt and generator assembly.
