DESCRIPTION

The telephone microphone assembly RH is connected to the navigation receiver assembly via voice recognition microphone 2 signal detection line.

This DTC is stored when the navigation receiver assembly detects disconnection of telephone microphone assembly RH.

PROCEDURE

1.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY - NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY)
a.

Disconnect the P24 map light assembly connector.


b.

Disconnect the G157 navigation receiver assembly connector.


c.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
P24-9 (SNS2) - G157-21 (SNS2) Always Below 1 Ω
P24-8 (MO2-) - G157-18 (MI2-) Always Below 1 Ω
P24-9 (SNS2) or G196-21 (SNS2) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
P24-8 (MO2-) or G196-18 (MI2-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

2.INSPECT NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (MI2-)

With the navigation receiver assembly connectors connected, disconnect the P24 map light assembly connector.


b.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
