If the fuel pressure sensor (for low pressure side) value does not follow the change in the target low pressure side fuel pressure, it is judged as a malfunction. If this malfunction is detected in 2 consecutive driving cycles, the ECM will illuminate the MIL and store DTC P107A2A.
If the fuel pressure sensor (for low pressure side) value is less than or higher than the threshold value when the fuel pump on the low pressure side is operated at the maximum during a fuel cut, it is judged as a malfunction has occurred. If this malfunction is detected for 2 consecutive driving cycles, the ECM will illuminate the MIL and store DTC P107A64.

Turn the ignition switch off and wait for at least 30 seconds.
Turn the ignition switch to ON [A].
Turn the GTS on.
Start the engine and warm it up until the engine coolant temperature reaches 75°C (167°F) or higher [B].
Drive the vehicle at 50 to 80 km/h (31 to 50 mph) for 15 minutes or more [C].
When performing the confirmation driving pattern, obey all speed limits and traffic laws.
Drive the vehicle while keeping the engine load as constant as possible.
With the shift lever in M or 2nd gear [D], accelerate the vehicle to 64 km/h (40 mph) or more by depressing the accelerator pedal for at least 10 seconds [E].
When performing the confirmation driving pattern, obey all speed limits and traffic laws.
Soon after performing step [E] above, release the accelerator pedal for 10 seconds or more without depressing the brake pedal in order to execute fuel-cut control [F].
Allow the vehicle to decelerate until the vehicle speed decreases to less than 10 km/h (6 mph).
Repeat steps [D] through [F] above at least 3 times in one driving cycle.

Read Freeze Frame Data using the GTS. The ECM records vehicle and driving condition information as Freeze Frame Data the moment a DTC is stored. When troubleshooting, Freeze Frame Data can help determine if the vehicle was moving or stationary, if the engine was warmed up or not, if the air fuel ratio was lean or rich, and other data from the time the malfunction occurred.
