DESCRIPTION

The main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) detects the condition of the back door lock with courtesy light switch assembly (back door courtesy light switch).

Disconnect the R14 back door lock with courtesy light switch assembly connector.


b.

Disconnect the 6F power distribution box assembly connector.


c.

Disconnect the R28 multiplex network door ECU connector.


d.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
R14-4 (CTY) - 6F-2 Always Below 1 Ω
R14-4 (CTY) or 6F-2 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
R14-1 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

Disconnect the 6F power distribution box assembly connector.


c.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
R11-3 (D+) - 6F-2 Always Below 1 Ω
R11-3 (D+) or 6F-2 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
R11-2 (ACT-) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω
