Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following procedure.



PROCEDURE

1.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DOOR CONTROL BATTERY - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND)
a.

Disconnect the G153 door control battery connector.


b.

Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:
Tester Connection Switch Condition Specified Condition
G153-11 (BATB) - Body ground Ignition switch off 11 to 14 V
G153-4 (IG) - Body ground Ignition switch off 11 to 14 V



c.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
G153-3 (GND1) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω

Turn the ignition switch off.


b.

Leave the vehicle as is for 30 minutes (wait until the door control battery is discharged).

HINT:

Discharge time is reduced when the door control battery is not fully charged.



c.

Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:
