Actuation Area-linked*1 With the ignition switch off and all of the doors closed and locked, enter an exterior detection area while carrying an electrical key transmitter and check that the lights that operate turn on for approximately 15 seconds and then turn off.

Door Lock/Unlock-linked With the ignition switch off and all of the doors closed and locked, unlock either front door using an unlock operation (key-linked, wireless or entry unlock operation) and check that the lights that operate turn on for 15 seconds and then turn off.

Door Open/Close-linked With the ignition switch off and all of the doors closed, open either front door and check that the lights that operate turn ON. While the lights that operate are on, close all of the doors and check that the lights that operate turn off after approximately 15 seconds.

With the ignition switch off and all the doors closed, open the front door and check that the blinking interval for the lights listed on the right slows down. After this, check that the blinking interval for the lights listed on the right quickens when the brake pedal is depressed. Push start switch illumination
With the ignition switch ON, open either front door and check that the lights that operate turn on. While the lights that operate are on, close all of the doors and check that the lights that operate turn off.

Vehicle Speed-linked With the ignition switch turned to ACC or ON, release the parking brake, drive the vehicle at least 3 km/h (1.9 mph), and check that the lights dim. While the lights are dim, stop the vehicle, apply the parking brake, and check that the lights return to full brightness.

INSPECT BATTERY SAVING CONTROL OPERATION

The operations and conditions of this control are described below.

Basic operation When 20 minutes elapse after the ignition switch is turned from ACC or IG to off and the lights that operate remain on, the lights are turned off.
HINT:

Battery saving control is canceled when any of the following operations is performed before the lights are turned off by battery saving control. After the operation is performed, the lights remain on for another 20 minutes and then the lights are turned off.

·

The ignition switch is turned to ACC or IG.

·

Any door is opened and closed.

·

The back door is opened and closed.

·

Any door is unlocked.

·

The key enters any exterior actuation area.

Interior light auto cut operation When 20 minutes elapse after the ignition switch is turned from on (ACC or IG) to off and the lights that operate remain on, the lights are turned off.
HINT:
