DESCRIPTION

When a malfunction has occurred in the AWD coupling solenoid system, the 4WD ECU assembly stores DTC C05F51C.

1.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (4WD ECU ASSEMBLY - 4WD LINEAR SOLENOID (ELECTRO MAGNETIC CONTROL COUPLING SUB-ASSEMBLY))
a.

Turn the ignition switch off.


b.

Disconnect the N4 4WD ECU assembly connector.


c.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
N4-4 (SLC+) - N4-3 (SLC-) 20°C (68°F) 2.2 to 2.6 Ω
N4-4 (SLC+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
