When installing the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU), always replace it with a new one.
After replacing the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU), make sure to perform ECU configuration.
After performing the ECU configuration procedure, make sure to perform the initialization procedure for when the cable has been disconnected and reconnected to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.

1.INSTALL MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)
Hold the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) with your dominant hand.

Do not touch the connector.
Make sure foreign matter does not enter the terminals.

Hold the power distribution box assembly with your other hand.
Make sure there is no foreign matter in the fitting surface.

Set the guide of the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) against the housing sidewall.
Make sure the angle between the power distribution box assembly and the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) is 20° or more.

Slide the guide of the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) along the housing sidewall in the direction indicated by the arrow.

While pressing the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) against side A (center of rotation) of the power distribution box assembly, rotate it until it enters the lock of the power distribution box assembly.
The center of rotation is the one that contacts surface A.
Rotate it until it enters the lock of the power distribution box assembly.

Pressing Area |
Press the pressing area of the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).
Do not insert with a force of 98 N (10 kgf, 22.0 lbf) or higher to prevent it from being damaged.
Do not hit on or put your weight on the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) when engaging the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU).
Press it in one of the following ways.

Check the engagement of the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) and the power distribution box assembly by the locking sound.
As the connector may not be connected securely, visually check the lock part engagement if a locking sound cannot be heard.

Check that the back side of the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) and the rib surrounding the power distribution box assembly are the same height.

Attach the claw to install the junction block bracket to the power distribution box assembly.
2.INSTALL POWER DISTRIBUTION BOX ASSEMBLY WITH MAIN BODY ECU
Attach the wire harness clamp.

Connect the connector.
Attach the claw to connect the 2 lever connectors.
Be sure to connect the connector securely.
Attach the claw to install the power distribution box assembly with main body ECU to the connector holder.
Attach the claw to install the power distribution box assembly with main body ECU with the 2 nuts.
Connect the 5 connectors.

Be sure to connect the connector securely.
