Install in this Direction


Attach the guide to install the cooler condenser assembly.

NOTICE:

Do not damage the cooler condenser assembly or radiator assembly when installing the cooler condenser assembly.


HINT:

If a new cooler condenser assembly is installed, add compressor oil to the condenser as follows.


Capacity:

Add 40 cc (1.35 fl. oz)


Compressor Oil:

ND-OIL 8 or equivalent

Attach the claw.


Hide 53205 2.INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY

a.

Attach the upper radiator support sub-assembly to the 2 radiator support cushions and install the upper radiator support sub-assembly with the 4 bolts.

Torque:
12.5 N*m (127 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf)

NOTICE:

When installing the upper radiator support sub-assembly, do not damage the cooler condenser assembly and radiator assembly.

Hide 53630 3.CONNECT HOOD LOCK CONTROL CABLE ASSEMBLY

Connect the hood lock control cable assembly to the clamp.


Hide 88711 4.CONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE

a.

Remove the vinyl tape wrapped around the connection of the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose and No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.


b.

Sufficiently apply compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.

Compressor Oil:

ND-OIL 8 or equivalent



c.

Install the O-ring to the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.

NOTICE:

Keep the O-rings and O-ring fitting surfaces free from foreign matter.



d.

Connect the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose with the bolt.

Torque:
5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)

NOTICE:
·

Do not apply excessive force to the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.

·

Make sure not to cut the O-ring while installing it. (Cut O-rings cannot be installed)

Remove the vinyl tape wrapped around the connection of the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly and the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly.

*1 Air Conditioning Tube and Accessory Assembly
*2 Piping Clamp
*a Groove


Install a new piping clamp to the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly.

NOTICE:
·

Securely engage the piping clamp to the groove of the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly.

·

Do not open the piping clamp more than the diameter of the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly when installing it.

·

Do not install the piping clamp with the large diameter section facing the wrong direction.

·

Before installing, remove any foreign matter adhered to the fitting area.




c.

Sufficiently apply compressor oil to 2 new O-rings and the fitting surfaces of the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly.

Compressor Oil:

ND-OIL 8 or equivalent



d.

Install the 2 O-rings to the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly.

NOTICE:

Keep the O-rings and O-ring fitting surfaces free from foreign matter.



e.

Connect the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly to the cooler condenser assembly.

NOTICE:
·

Connect the parts by holding the pipe, not the piping clamp.

·

Do not apply excessive force to the air conditioning tube and accessory assembly.

·

Make sure not to cut the O-ring while installing it. (Cut O-rings cannot be installed)

·

Before connecting, remove any foreign matter adhered to the fitting area.

Securely insert the piping clamp to the point where the large diameter section of the piping clamp is covered by the cooler condenser assembly.

NOTICE:
·

Securely insert until the piping clamp claw enters the cooler condenser assembly.
