If metal dust is produced inside the compressor assembly with pulley, it could cause a clog in the modulator. If any metal dust comes out, replace the cooler dryer inside the modulator also.

Do not race the engine before replacing the compressor assembly with pulley.

6.DISCONNECT SUCTION HOSE SUB-ASSEMBLY
Remove the bolt and disconnect the suction hose sub-assembly.
Do not apply excessive force to the suction hose sub-assembly.
Remove the O-ring from the suction hose sub-assembly.
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering them.

7.DISCONNECT NO. 1 COOLER REFRIGERANT DISCHARGE HOSE
Remove the bolt and disconnect the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.
Do not apply excessive force to the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.
Remove the O-ring from the No. 1 cooler refrigerant discharge hose.
Seal the openings of the disconnected parts using vinyl tape to prevent moisture and foreign matter from entering them.

8.REMOVE COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY WITH PULLEY
Disconnect the connector.
for Type A:
Remove the 2 nuts.

Using an E8 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 2 stud bolts, 2 bolts and compressor assembly with pulley.
for Type B:
Remove the 4 bolts and compressor assembly with pulley.
