The electric parking brake may still operate up to 20 seconds after the ignition switch is turned off. Before disconnecting connectors or fuses, turn the ignition switch off and wait 20 seconds or more.
After replacing the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly), perform acceleration sensor zero point calibration and store system information memorization.
When replacing the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly), operate the electric parking brake switch (integration control and panel assembly) as the parking brake indicator light blinks when the ignition switch is first turned to ON.
Turn the ignition switch off.
Make sure that there is no looseness at the locking part and the connecting part of the connectors.
The connector is securely connected.
Disconnect the NN6 and N57 No. 2 parking brake wire assembly connectors.
Check both the connector case and the terminals for deformation and corrosion.
No deformation or corrosion.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Turn the ignition switch off.
Make sure the No. 2 parking brake wire assembly is securely installed.
Disconnect the A39 skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) connector.
Disconnect the N57 parking brake actuator assembly LH connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
