MAINTENANCE  NR Series BATTERY  REMOVAL

NOTICE:

When replacing the battery, use a new battery of the same dimensions and same capacity or more from the same class at a 20-hour rate.


HINT:

When the cable is disconnected / reconnected to the battery terminal, systems temporarily stop operating. However, each system has a function that completes learning the first time the system is used.

Hide 2.DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Loosen the nut and disconnect the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

Disengage the 2 claws to remove the fusible link cover.

Loosen the nut.

Remove in this Direction


Disengage the spring assembly and disconnect the cable from the positive (+) battery terminal.

Remove the bolt.

Remove the No. 2 battery clamp as shown in the illustration.

Remove the battery from the vehicle.
