PROCEDURE

1.CHECK OPERATION (TAILLIGHTS)
a.

Check the operation of the taillights.

OK:

Taillights operate normally.

2.PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS

2.PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS
a.

Connect the GTS to the DLC3.


b.

Turn the ignition switch to ON.


c.

Turn the GTS on.


d.

Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Active Test.


e.

Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

Disconnect the 4A driver side junction block assembly connector.


b.

Disconnect the O110 rear light assembly LH connector.


c.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

O110-3 (B) - 4A-21 Always Below 1 Ω
O110-3 (B) or 4A-21 - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 4D-1.


c.

Connect a negative (-) lead from the battery to terminal MB-14 (TRLY) and MB-27 (RFGO).


d.

Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
4A-21 - Battery negative (-) terminal Always 11 to 14 V

Disconnect the O110 rear light assembly LH connector.


c.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
