1.INSTALL REAR SPRING SEAT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for LH Side)
Install the rear spring seat sub-assembly to the vehicle body with the nut.
Perform this procedure only when replacement of the rear spring seat sub-assembly is necessary.

2.INSTALL REAR SPRING SEAT SUB-ASSEMBLY (for RH Side)
Perform this procedure only when replacement of the rear spring seat sub-assembly is necessary.
Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

3.INSTALL REAR UPPER COIL SPRING INSULATOR LH
Install the rear upper coil spring insulator LH to the rear coil spring LH.

4.INSTALL REAR UPPER COIL SPRING INSULATOR RH
Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.

5.INSTALL REAR LOWER COIL SPRING INSULATOR LH
Install the rear lower coil spring insulator LH to the rear coil spring LH.

6.INSTALL REAR LOWER COIL SPRING INSULATOR RH
Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.
7.INSTALL REAR COIL SPRING
Support the spring seat of the rear axle beam assembly using 2 jacks and 2 wooden blocks.

Remove the 2 bolts and separate the rear axle beam assembly from the rear shock absorber assemblies LH and RH.
Slowly lower the rear axle beam assembly using 2 jacks and 2 wooden blocks.

Set the rear coil spring to the rear axle beam assembly as shown in the illustration.
Make sure that the identification mark is positioned on the lower side of the vehicle.
Slowly jack up the rear axle beam assembly using 2 jacks and 2 wooden blocks, and temporarily install the rear axle beam assembly to the rear shock absorber assemblies LH and RH with the 2 bolts.

8.INSTALL NO. 2 PARKING BRAKE WIRE ASSEMBLY
Install the No. 2 parking brake wire assembly to the rear axle beam assembly with the nut and clamp.
Connect the No. 2 parking brake wire assembly connector to the parking brake actuator assembly.
Engage the clamp.
Connect the No. 2 parking brake wire assembly connector to the rear axle hub and bearing assembly.

9.INSTALL NO. 1 PARKING BRAKE WIRE ASSEMBLY
Perform the same procedure as for the No. 2 parking brake wire assembly.

10.CONNECT REAR FLEXIBLE HOSE LH
Temporarily install the rear flexible hose LH to the rear No. 4 brake tube.

Secure the rear flexible hose LH with a new clip.
Install the clip as far as it will go.
Using a union nut wrench, connect the rear flexible hose LH to the rear No. 4 brake tube while holding the rear flexible hose LH with a wrench.
Do not kink or damage the brake line.
Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt or dust to enter the brake line from the connecting parts.
Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench.
When using a union nut wrench (fulcrum length of 22 mm (0.866 in.)) + torque wrench (fulcrum length of 162 mm (6.38 in.)):
13.4 N*m (137 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf)

11.CONNECT REAR FLEXIBLE HOSE RH
Perform the same procedure as for the LH side.
12.BLEED BRAKE LINE
13.INSTALL REAR WHEELS
14.STABILIZE SUSPENSION

15.FULLY TIGHTEN REAR AXLE BEAM ASSEMBLY

Set the rear axle beam assembly as shown in the illustration.
Fully tighten the 2 rear axle beam assembly bolts.
Fully tighten the 2 rear shock absorber assembly bolts.
While holding the nut, tighten the bolt.
16.CHECK FOR SPEED SENSOR SIGNAL
17.INSPECT REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT
18. PLACE FRONT WHEELS FACING STRAIGHT AHEAD
19.PERFORM INITIALIZATION
