NR Series ENGINE CONTROL  MASS AIR FLOW METER  ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION  


PROCEDURE

Hide 22204 1.INSPECT MASS AIR FLOW METER SUB-ASSEMBLY

a.

Connect the GTS to the DLC3.


b.

Turn the ignition switch to ON (do not start the engine).


c.

Turn the GTS on.


d.

Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Data List / Mass Air Flow Sensor.

Air


Blow air into the mass air flow meter sub-assembly and check that the value of mass air flow sensor fluctuates.

OK:

The value changes.


If the result is not as specified, clean the mass air flow meter sub-assembly.
