FRONT WIPER CONTROL FUNCTION

Control/Function	Description
*: w/ Auto Wiper System
MIST function	Operates the front wipers in LO when the front wiper switch is held in the MIST position.
Intermediate position return function	Resumes wiper operation according to the operation of the front wiper switch or washer switch when the wipers are stopped in any position other than the lower reverse position.
Auto operation*	Operates the wipers as requested by the rain sensor when the windshield wiper switch assembly is in the AUTO position.
Vehicle speed sensing type adjustable intermittent wiper control	Controls the delay of the front wipers when the front wiper switch is in the INT position. HINT: · The intermittent operation interval is controlled by the intermittent time adjustment switch. · The intermittent operation interval changes in accordance with the vehicle speed. · When the front wiper switch is in the INT position and the vehicle is stopped, the front wipers operate for 1 cycle when the vehicle starts off. · When the intermittent time adjustment switch is moved to a faster position, the delay is reset and control begins according to the new setting.
Vehicle speed linked wiper operation control	Operates the wipers as follows when the vehicle is stopped. · When the vehicle speed is 5 km/h (3 mph) or lower and the intermittent time adjustment switch is in any position other than P4, if the front wiper switch is moved to the LO position, the wipers will operate in LO for 3 cycles and then at a 2.5-second interval. · When the intermittent time adjustment switch is in any position other than P4 and the front wiper switch is in the LO position, if the vehicle speed decreases to 5 km/h (3 mph) or lower, the wipers will operate in LO for 2 cycles and then at a 2.5-second interval. HINT: · When this control is operating, if the vehicle speed increases to 7 km/h (4 mph) or more, the front wipers will operate in LO. · If the intermittent time adjustment switch is in the P4 position, this control will not operate and the wipers will operate in LO. · When the wipers are operating, if the intermittent time adjustment switch is moved from P4 to any other position, the wipers will immediately begin operating at a 2.5-second interval.
Protection mode	INT position: Suspends wiper operation if the wipers are prevented from operating for 5 seconds or more, in order to protect the wiper and washer system. Lo, Hi position: Suspends wiper operation if the wipers are prevented from operating for 10 seconds or more, in order to protect the wiper and washer system.

REAR WIPER CONTROL FUNCTION (w/ Rear Wiper, except Double Swing Out Type)

Back door open linked wiper suspend function	Suspends rear wiper operation when the back door is opened. HINT: · This function is operable when its customize setting is set to "Available". (201906,999999,_59,_079320,_0385301,RM100000001II7R,) · This function is disabled when the back door is closed or the vehicle speed is 7 km/h (4 mph) or more.
R shift position auto rear wiper operation function*	Operates the rear wiper 0.4 seconds after the shift lever is moved to R when the front wipers are operating. WASHER CONTROL FUNCTION

Control/Function	Description
1: w/ Rear Wiper 2: w/ Headlight Cleaner System
Front washer cooperation	· When the washer switch is held in the Fr WASH position for 0.5 seconds or more, the front wipers operate in LO. · When the washer switch is released, the front wipers operate in LO for 3 additional cycles. NOTICE: If the washer switch is held in the Fr WASH position for approximately 40 seconds or more, operation of the windshield washer motor and pump assembly is stopped to prevent burnout, and the front wipers are returned to the park position.
Rear washer cooperation*1	· When the washer switch is held in the Rr WASH position for 0.5 seconds or more, the rear wiper operates. · When the washer switch is released, the rear wiper operates in LO for 2 to 3 additional cycles. NOTICE: If the washer switch is held in the Rr WASH position for approximately 40 seconds or more, operation of the windshield washer motor and pump assembly is stopped to prevent burnout, and the rear wiper is returned to the park position. Headlight cleaner control*2	With the ignition switch ON and the headlights illuminated, the windshield wiper switch assembly (washer switch) operates the headlight cleaner motor and pump assembly the first time and every fifth time it is turned on, and washer fluid is sprayed from the headlight washer actuator sub-assembly for approximately 1.5 seconds.
Drip prevention wiper function	Approximately 3 seconds after front washer cooperation completes, operates the wipers for 1 cycle to remove any remaining washer fluid. HINT: This function only operates when the vehicle is stopped or is being driven at a very low speed (below approximately 7 km/h [4 mph]).

CAMERA CLEANER CONTROL FUNCTION (w/ Digital Rear-view Mirror System)

Control/Function	Description
Camera cleaner function	w/o Rear Wiper: When the washer switch is held in the Rr WASH position for 0.5 seconds or more, the camera cleaner operates. w/ Rear Wiper: When the washer switch is held in the Rr WASH position for 0.5 seconds or more, the rear wiper and camera cleaner operate.
