Hide 16100 1.INSTALL ENGINE WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY

Install a new water pump gasket and engine water pump assembly with the 15 bolts.

Torque:
for bolt A and B : 11 N*m (112 kgf*cm, 8 ft.*lbf)
for bolt C : 21 N*m (214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf)
for bolt D : 43 N*m (438 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf)

Adhesive:

Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1344, Three Bond 1344 or equivalent


Standard Length:
Item Length
Bolt A, B 22 mm (0.866 in.)
Bolt C 55 mm (2.17 in.)
Bolt D 60 mm (2.36 in.)


NOTICE:
·

Make sure that there is no oil on the threads of the bolts C and D.

·

Be sure to replace the 2 bolts B with new ones or reuse them after applying adhesive.

·

Do not start the engine for at least 1 hour after installation.




Hide 16604 2.INSTALL NO. 2 IDLER PULLEY SUB-ASSEMBLY

Install the 2 No. 2 idler pulley sub-assemblies with the 2 bolts.

Torque:
43 N*m (438 kgf*cm, 32 ft.*lbf)


Hide 44310 3.CONNECT VANE PUMP ASSEMBLY

Connect the vane pump assembly with the 2 bolts.

Torque:
21 N*m (214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf)

Connect the wiring harness clamp bracket with the bolt.

Torque:
13 N*m (133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf)

Connect the connector.

Install the No. 1 idler pulley bracket with the 3 bolts.

Torque:
24.5 N*m (250 kgf*cm, 18 ft.*lbf)
