7GR-FKS ENGINE CONTROL IGNITION COIL AND SPARK PLUG INSTALLATION

1.INSTALL SPARK PLUG
- HINT:
-
Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing a spark plug.
Install the 6 spark plugs to the cylinder head sub-assembly.
- Torque:
- 18 N*m (184 kgf*cm, 13 ft.*lbf)
- NOTICE:
-
If a spark plug has been struck or dropped, replace it.

2.INSTALL IGNITION COIL ASSEMBLY
- HINT:
-
Perform "Inspection After Repairs" after replacing the ignition coil assembly.
Install the 6 ignition coils with the 6 bolts.
- Torque:
- 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)
Connect the 6 ignition coil connectors.

3.INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Install the No. 1 engine cover sub-assembly with the bolt.
- Torque:
- 10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)

4.INSTALL WIRE HARNESS CLAMP BRACKET
Install the wire harness clamp bracket with the bolt.
- Torque:
- 13 N*m (133 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf)
Attach the 2 wire harness clamps to connect the wire harness to the wire harness clamp bracket.
5.INSTALL AIR SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY (w/ Secondary Air Injection System)

6.INSTALL INTAKE AIR SURGE TANK ASSEMBLY
7.PERFORM INITIALIZATION
Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing an ignition coil assembly or spark plug.
