7GR-FKS EMISSION CONTROL  AIR SWITCHING VALVE(w/ Secondary Air Injection System)  INSTALLATION  


PROCEDURE

Hide 1.INSTALL AIR SWITCHING VALVE ASSEMBLY

a.

for LH Side:

i.

Using an E8 "TORX" socket wrench, temporarily install the air switching valve assembly with the 2 stud bolts.

Torque:
10 N*m (102 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*lbf)


ii.

Install the air switching valve assembly with the 2 nuts and bolt.

Torque:
21 N*m (214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf)


iii.

Attach the clamp and connect the No. 1 fuel pipe sub-assembly and No. 2 fuel pipe sub-assembly to the intake air surge tank assembly.


iv.

Connect the No. 3 air tube to the air switching valve assembly and slide the clip to secure it.


v.

Connect the air switching valve assembly connector.



b.

for RH Side:

i.

Install the air switching valve assembly with the 3 nuts.

Torque:
21 N*m (214 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*lbf)


ii.

Connect the air tube to the air switching valve assembly and slide the clip to secure it.


iii.

Connect the air switching valve assembly connector.
