Immediately after installing the brake shoes, the braking performance may be reduced. Always perform a road test in a safe place while paying attention to the surroundings.
After replacing the brake shoes, always perform a road test to check the braking performance and check for vibrations.
Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
The following procedure is for the LH side.

1.INSTALL REAR WHEEL BRAKE CYLINDER ASSEMBLY
Install the rear wheel brake cylinder assembly to the brake backing plate with the 2 bolts.
| *a | Torque Wrench Fulcrum Length |
| *b | Union Nut Wrench |
Using a union nut wrench, connect the rear brake tube to the rear wheel brake cylinder assembly.
Do not kink or damage the brake line.
Do not allow any foreign matter such as dirt or dust to enter the brake line from the connecting parts.
Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench.
When using a union nut wrench (fulcrum length of 22 mm (0.866 in.)) + torque wrench (fulcrum length of 162 mm (6.38 in.)):
13.4 N*m (137 kgf*cm, 10 ft.*lbf)
