BRAKE SYSTEM (OTHER)  BRAKE BOOSTER(for LHD)  INSTALLATION  


PROCEDURE

Hide 44785 1.INSTALL BRAKE BOOSTER GASKET

a.

Install a new brake booster gasket to the brake booster assembly.


Hide 44610 2.INSTALL BRAKE BOOSTER ASSEMBLY

a.

Install the brake booster assembly to the vehicle body with the 4 nuts.

Torque:
12.7 N*m (130 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*lbf)

NOTICE:

Do not apply excessive force to the brake lines.



Hide 5.INSTALL BRAKE LINE

Engage the clamp and install a new brake tube clamp to the vehicle body.

Engage the 2 clamps to connect the brake tube clamp to the brake lines and clutch line.

Engage the clamp to connect the brake tube clamp to the brake line.

Engage the 3 clamps to install a new brake tube clamp to the brake lines and clutch line.

Engage the 2 clamps to install a new brake tube clamp to the brake lines.

Connect the connector to the vacuum warning switch assembly.

Connect the union to check valve hose to the brake booster assembly and slide the clip to secure it.

NOTICE:
·

Make sure to connect the union to check valve hose with its paint mark facing the front of the vehicle.

·

Make sure that the tabs of the clip are facing the front of the vehicle.
