PRECAUTION FOR WHEN USING WIRELESS CHARGER
When charging a rechargeable device while driving, for safety reasons, the driver should not operate the rechargeable device.
Do not charge cordless headphones or other small and lightweight portable devices while driving.
These devices are extremely lightweight and may be thrown from the charging tray, causing an unforeseen accident or dangers.
People with implantable cardiac pacemakers, cardiac resynchronization therapy pacemakers or implantable cardioverter defibrillators, or any other electrical medical device, should consult their physician about usage of the wireless charging system. Operation of the wireless charging system may have an affect on medical devices.
Observe the following precautions. Failure to do so may result in a fire, equipment failure or damage, or burns due to overheating.
Do not put any metallic objects between the charging area and the rechargeable device while charging.
Do not attach metallic objects, such as aluminum stickers, to the charging area.
Do not cover the rechargeable device with a cloth or other object while charging.
Do not attempt to charge rechargeable devices which are not compatible with the Qi wireless charging standard.
Do not disassemble, modify or remove the mobile wireless charger cradle assembly.
Do not apply force or impact to the mobile wireless charger cradle assembly.
In the following situations, the wireless charging system may not operate correctly:
When the rechargeable device is fully charged.
There is a flat object or small item with a thickness of 2.0 mm (0.079 in.) or more placed between the charging area and the compatible device.
When a cover or accessory with a thickness of 2.0 mm (0.079 in.) or more or a cover or accessory that is not Qi-compatible is attached to the compatible device.
When the device becomes hot due to the heat from charging a compatible device or from being heated by an application that has been started.
The temperature around the charging tray is 35 °C (95 °F) or higher due to blazing heat, etc.
There is a compatible device placed with the charging area facing up.
The charging coil of a small device or folding cell phone terminal may fall outside the charging area depending on how it is placed.
When the vehicle is in an environment where it may be affected by strong radio waves or electrical noise.
When the rechargeable device is in contact with, or is covered by any metallic object.
When wireless keys (that emit radio waves) other than those of the vehicle are being used nearby.
Do not bring magnetic cards, such as credit cards, or magnetic recording media close to the mobile wireless charger cradle assembly while charging. Otherwise, data may be erased. Additionally, do not bring precision instruments, such as wrist watches, close to the mobile wireless charger cradle assembly, as such objects may malfunction.
To prevent the auxiliary battery from discharging, do not use the wireless charging system for a long period of time with the ignition switch in a state other than ON (READY).
