HYBRID / BATTERY CONTROL  HYBRID BATTERY SYSTEM  P0AAC11  Hybrid/EV Battery Air Temperature Sensor "A" Circuit Short to Ground  P0AAC15  Hybrid/EV Battery Air Temperature Sensor "A" Circuit Short to Auxiliary Battery or Open

DESCRIPTION

The inlet air temperature sensor (HV battery) is mounted on the HV battery. The resistance of the sensor varies in accordance with changes in the intake air temperature. The characteristics of the inlet air temperature sensor are the same as those of the battery temperature sensors (Click here Engine / Hybrid System>HYBRID / BATTERY CONTROL>HYBRID BATTERY SYSTEM>P0A9B11). The battery ECU assembly uses signals from the inlet air temperature sensor to control the air volume of the battery cooling blower assembly.

3.

Clear the DTCs (even if no DTCs are stored, perform the clear DTC procedure).

4.

Turn the ignition switch off and wait for 2 minutes or more.

5.

Turn the ignition switch to ON and turn the GTS on.

6.

With ignition switch ON and wait for 5 seconds or more.

7.

Enter the following menus: Powertrain / HV Battery / Utility / All Readiness.

8.

Check the DTC judgment result.

HINT:
·

If the judgment result shows NORMAL, the system is normal.

·

If the judgment result shows ABNORMAL, the system has a malfunction.

·

If the judgment result shows INCOMPLETE, perform driving pattern again.
