DESCRIPTION

If the telematics transceiver detects an error in the communication between the telematics transceiver and the map light assembly (emergency call switch) as a result of the telematics transceiver self check, this DTC will be stored.

When replacing the telematics transceiver, make sure to replace it with a new one.

1.CHECK DTC OUTPUT
a.

Clear the DTCs.

Body Electrical > Telematics > Clear DTCs

b.

Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

Body Electrical > Telematics > Trouble Codes

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

a.

Disconnect the I200 telematics transceiver connector.


b.

Disconnect the T6 map light assembly connector.


c.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
I200-21 (SIG1) - T6-7 (SIG1) Always Below 1 Ω
I200-3 (SIG-) - T6-19 (GND3) Always Below 1 Ω
I200-21 (SIG1) or T6-7 (SIG1) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
I200-3 (SIG-) or T6-19 (GND3) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
