Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
The following procedure is for the LH side.

1.INSTALL NO. 2 SIDE AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY
Check that the ignition switch off.
Check that the cable is disconnected from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
Wait at least 60 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal to disable the SRS system.
If the airbag deploys for any reason, it may cause a serious accident.
When connecting any airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.
Attach the claw to install the No. 2 side airbag sensor assembly with the bolt.
If the No. 2 side airbag sensor assembly has been dropped, or there are any cracks, dents or other defects in the case or connector, replace it with a new one.
When installing the No. 2 side airbag sensor assembly, make sure that the SRS wiring does not interfere with or is not pinched between other parts.
Make sure that the No. 2 side airbag sensor assembly claw is securely inserted into the body hole.
Check that there is no looseness in the installed parts of the No. 2 side airbag sensor assembly.
Connect the airbag connector.

2.INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH
Install the rear seat side garnish LH.
Return the rear door opening trim weatherstrip LH to its original position.

When removing and installing the No. 2 side airbag sensor assembly installed on the passenger side, perform this procedure.

When disconnecting and reconnecting the auxiliary battery, there is an automatic learning function that completes learning when the respective system is used.
