CHECK VEHICLE CONTROL HISTORY (CONTINUOUSLY VARIABLE TRANSAXLE SYSTEM)
The Vehicle Control History stores the history of the reject function and system protection operations.
The number of occurrences, date and distance are stored in batches for each item.
Connect the GTS to the DLC3.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Turn the GTS on.
Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine / Utility / Vehicle Control History (RoB).

*: If the engine stalls 3 times or more, the ECM suspects that the shift solenoid valve SLU is stuck on. In this case, the ECM releases the lock-up oil pressure when the engine is next started as engine stall avoidance control. In this case, the variable gear ratio range and output torque will be restricted. If the shift solenoid valve SLU is not malfunctioning, engine stall avoidance control can be canceled by performing either of the following procedures: - Drive the vehicle at 40 km/h (25 mph) or more for 5 seconds or more and then stop the vehicle. - Using the GTS, clear the DTCs for the ECU (even if no DTCs are stored, perform the clear operation). If the vehicle is attempted to be stopped when the shift solenoid valve SLU is malfunctioning or when engine stall avoidance control has not been canceled, engine stall avoidance control will be performed to prevent another engine stall. In this case, the variable gear ratio range and output torque will be restricted. |

| X0505 | Shift Operation during Accelerator & Brake Depress | History of attempts to change the shift lever to P with the accelerator and brake pedals depressed when the engine is running | If this history remains, perform a shift lock operation inspection as a shift lock control ECU malfunction is suspected.

| X050B | Shift N Change by Busy Shift | History of shift state being changed to N due to shift lever being repeatedly moved to R, D and/or N within a short period of time | Wait for a while and then attempt to change the shift state again |
| X0510 | Shifted out of P Position without Depressing Brake Pedal | History of attempts to change the shift lever to P with the brake pedal not depressed | If this history remains, perform a shift lock operation inspection as a shift lock control ECU malfunction is suspected.

| X054C | Accelerator Depress when Shift P Position during Engine/Ready ON | History of accelerator pedal being depressed when the shift lever is in P and the engine is running | Countermeasures:
Make sure the accelerator pedal is not depressed when changing the shift lever from P. |
| X0556 | Shifted out of P Position during Cranking | History of attempts to change the shift lever to P while the engine cranking | If this history remains, perform a shift lock operation inspection as a shift lock control ECU malfunction is suspected.

| X090C | High A/T Oil Temperature | History of the CVT fluid temperature exceeding the threshold and a warning being output after starting the engine
(A shift pattern which prioritizes lower engine speed gear shift is used until the CVT fluid temperature drops, in order to protect the continuously variable transaxle assembly) |
