The telematics transceiver checks the reception condition of the location data every minute after the ignition switch is turned to ON. If the location data is not received from the radio and display receiver assembly*1 navigation receiver assembly*2, this DTC will be stored.

Depending on the parts that are replaced during vehicle inspection or maintenance, performing initialization, registration or calibration may be needed. Refer to Precaution for Telematics System.
When replacing the telematics transceiver, make sure to replace it with a new one.
Before replacing the telematics transceiver, refer to Service Bulletin.
Clear the DTCs.
Turn the ignition switch off.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Check for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.
No DTCs are output.

Disconnect the G156 radio and display receiver assembly connector*1.
Disconnect the G156 navigation receiver assembly connector*2.
Disconnect the G131 telematics transceiver connector.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Disconnect the G143 telephone ECU wire (to transceiver) connector from the telephone transceiver.
Disconnect the GG7 telephone ECU wire (to transceiver) connector from the radio wiring sub-assembly.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Disconnect the G162 radio wiring sub-assembly connector from the radio and display receiver assembly*1.
Disconnect the G162 radio wiring sub-assembly connector from the navigation receiver assembly*2.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Replace the telematics transceiver with a new one.
Clear the DTCs.
Turn the ignition switch off.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.
