DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when the navigation receiver assembly detects a short in a speaker circuit.

PROCEDURE

1.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - EACH SPEAKER OR TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)
a.

Disconnect the G154 navigation receiver assembly connector.


b.

Disconnect the I1 and J1 front No. 1 speaker assembly connector.


c.

Disconnect the L1 and K1 rear speaker assembly connectors.


d.

Disconnect the G132 telematics transceiver connector.


e.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
G154-2 (FL+) or G6-4 (TWL+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
G154-7 (FL-) or G6-2 (TWL-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
G154-1 (FR+) or G132-1 (SPI+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
G154-6 (FR-) or G132-2 (SPI-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
G132-3 (SPO+) or G5-4 (TWR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
G132-4 (SPO-) or G5-2 (TWR-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

Disconnect the I1 and J1 front No. 1 speaker assembly connectors.


b.

Disconnect the G5 and G6 front No. 2 speaker assembly connectors.


c.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

J1-2 (+) or G6-3 (+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
