The swing grille actuator assembly receives signals from the ECM, hybrid vehicle control ECU assembly and air conditioning amplifier assembly via CAN communication. Based on these signals, the swing grille actuator assembly operates the radiator shutter sub-assembly.
Before performing troubleshooting, change the grille shutter control mode to maintenance mode.

If the grille shutter assembly has been replaced with a new one, perform initialization and change the grille shutter control mode.

Inspect the fuse for circuits related to this system before performing the following procedure.

Turn the power switch on (IG).
Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
