Using SST, remove the front drive shaft oil seal RH from the front differential case.

Hide 41221 2.REMOVE FRONT DIFFERENTIAL RING GEAR

Secure the front differential ring gear in a vise between aluminum plates.

NOTICE:

Be careful not to damage the front differential ring gear in the vise.



b.

Remove the 12 bolts from the front differential ring gear.


c.

Using a plastic-faced hammer, tap on the front differential ring gear to remove it from the differential case sub-assembly.
