SEAT  REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY(for GTMC Made)  INSTALLATION  


CAUTION / NOTICE / HINT

CAUTION:

Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the parts may injure your hands.


PROCEDURE

Hide 1.INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY LH

a.

Place the rear seatback assembly LH in the cabin.

NOTICE:

Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

Engage the 2 guides.


c.

Temporarily install the rear seatback assembly LH with the 2 bolts.


d.

Fully tighten the bolt (A), and then the bolt (B) to install the rear seatback assembly LH.

Torque:
36.8 N*m (375 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf)


e.

Engage the 2 fasteners.


f.

Engage the 2 clips.


g.

Return the rear seatback assembly LH to its original position.


Hide 2.INSTALL REAR SEATBACK ASSEMBLY RH

a.

Place the rear seatback assembly RH in the cabin.

NOTICE:

Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

Engage the 2 guides.


c.

Temporarily install the rear seatback assembly RH with the 2 bolts.


d.

Fully tighten the bolt (A), and then the bolt (B) to install the rear seatback assembly RH.

Torque:
36.8 N*m (375 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf)


e.

Engage the 2 fasteners.


f.

Engage the 3 clips.


g.

Return the rear seatback assembly RH to its original position.


Hide 73350C 3.CONNECT REAR CENTER SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

Pass the floor anchor part of the rear center seat outer belt assembly through the band of the rear seatback assembly RH.


b.

Connect the floor anchor of rear center seat outer belt assembly with the nut.

Torque:
42 N*m (428 kgf*cm, 31 ft.*lbf)

NOTICE:

Do not allow the anchor part of the rear center seat outer belt assembly to overlap the protruding parts of the floor panel.

Install in this Direction


Engage the 2 claws to install a new rear seat cushion lock hook as shown in the illustration.

HINT:

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.



Hide 5.INSTALL REAR SEAT CUSHION ASSEMBLY

a.

for Gasoline Model:

i.

Place the rear seat cushion assembly in the cabin.

NOTICE:

Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

Engage the 2 rear seat cushion frame hooks on the rear side of the rear seat cushion assembly as shown in the illustration.


iii.

Engage the 2 rear seat cushion frame hooks on the front side of the rear seat cushion assembly as shown in the illustration to install the rear seat cushion assembly.

NOTICE:

Confirm that the rear seat cushion assembly is securely installed.




b.

for HV Model:

i.

Place the rear seat cushion assembly in the cabin.

NOTICE:

Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.

Engage the 2 rear seat cushion frame hooks on the rear side of the rear seat cushion assembly as shown in the illustration.


iii.

Engage the 2 rear seat cushion frame hooks on the front side of the rear seat cushion assembly as shown in the illustration to install the rear seat cushion assembly.

NOTICE:

Confirm that the rear seat cushion assembly is securely installed.

Install the rear seat center headrest assembly.
