When the fuel lid opener switch is operated, the pressure in the fuel tank is decreased and a message is displayed on the multi-information display. After the pressure has decreased, the ECM turns on the FUEL OPN relay and EFI-MAIN NO. 1 relay to operate the fuel lid lock with motor assembly to open the fuel lid. When the fuel lid is opened, a fuel lid courtesy switch signal is output and a message is displayed on the multi-information display.
