DOOR LOCK  POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM  ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION  


PROCEDURE

Hide 1. CHECK DOOR CONTROL BATTERY OPERATION (w/ Door Control Battery)

NOTICE:

After performing the following inspection, perform Initialization.

HINT:
·

The door control battery discharges completely within approximately 50 minutes after the ignition switch is turned off. Discharge time is reduced when the door control battery is not fully charged.

·

The door control battery is fully charged within 90 seconds after the ignition switch is turned to ON.



a.

Check that all of the doors are locked.


b.

Remove the ECU-DCC NO. 2 fuse from the power distribution box assembly.


c.

Connect the GTS to the DLC3.


d.

Turn the ignition switch to ON.


e.

Wait at least 90 seconds before performing the Active Test.

HINT:

Wait until the door control battery is fully charged.



f.

Turn the GTS on.


g.

Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Active Test.


h.

Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

Remove the ECU-IGR NO. 2 fuse from the power distribution box assembly.


j.

Remove the D/L NO. 1 fuse from the power distribution box assembly.

HINT:

The front passenger side door can be unlocked and opened before removing the ECU-DCC NO. 2 fuse.



k.

After removing the D/L NO. 1 fuse, perform the Active Test "Collision Door Lock Release" within 20 minutes.

Check that all the doors unlock.

OK:

All the doors unlock.


If the door lock does not operate properly, refer to How to Proceed with Troubleshooting.
