PROCEDURE

Hide 23221 1.INSTALL FUEL PUMP

HINT:

Perform "Inspection After Repair" after replacing the fuel pump.

Click hereEngine / Hybrid System>M20C-FKS, M20D-FKS (ENGINE CONTROL)>SFI SYSTEM>INITIALIZATION

Install the fuel pump to the No. 1 cap.

Apply gasoline to a new O-ring. Then install the O-ring to the No. 1 fuel suction support.


c.

Engage the 3 claws and install the No. 1 cap to the No. 1 fuel suction support.


d.

Connect the fuel pump harness connector to install the fuel pump harness to the fuel pump.

Slide


Align the protrusion of the fuel sub-tank sub-assembly with the installation hole of the fuel suction plate sub-assembly and slide the fuel sub-tank sub-assembly to install it to the fuel suction plate sub-assembly.

Engage the 4 claws to connect the fuel pump to the fuel sub-tank sub-assembly.

Apply gasoline to a new O-ring. Then install the O-ring to the No. 1 housing sub-assembly.


h.

Engage the 2 claws, 2 clamps to connect the fuel suction tube to the fuel sub-tank sub-assembly.
