The air conditioning particulate matter sensor (air conditioning duct sub-assembly) is installed downstream of the room temp. sensor (cooler thermistor) and detects the PM2.5 concentration level of the air inside the vehicle which is displayed. Detects the particulate matter concentration level of the air inside the vehicle and outputs the signal to the air conditioning amplifier assembly.

*: The air conditioning amplifier assembly stores this DTC if the malfunction has occurred for the period of time indicated in the brackets.
If DTC B140196 and B14C987 are output at the same time, troubleshoot for DTC B14C987 first.
Replace the air conditioning particulate matter sensor (air conditioning duct sub-assembly).
As this DTC is stored when the air conditioning particulate matter sensor (air conditioning duct sub-assembly) is malfunctioning, it is necessary to replace the air conditioning particulate matter sensor (air conditioning duct sub-assembly).
