Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
6 (TB) - 3 (E) Hazard warning switch off 10 kΩ or higher
Hazard warning switch on Below 1 Ω


If the result is not as specified, replace the hazard warning signal switch assembly.

Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the hazard warning signal switch assembly and check that the switch illuminates.

OK:
Measurement Condition Condition Specified Condition
Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 7 (ILL+)
Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 2 (ILL-)
Always Switch illumination illuminates


If the result is not as specified, replace the hazard warning signal switch assembly.
