1.INSPECT REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY (for LH/RH DOOR)

Check the switch function.
i.
Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Standard Resistance:
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 5 - 7 Auto up or manual up position Below 100 Ω 4 - 7 Auto down or manual down position Below 100 Ω 8 - 7 Auto up or auto down position Below 100 Ω 5 - 7 Off 10 kΩ or higher 4 - 7 Off 10 kΩ or higher 8 - 7 Off 10 kΩ or higher
If the result is not as specified, replace the rear power window regulator switch assembly (for LH/RH door).
b.
Check that the LED illuminates.
i.
Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the rear power window regulator switch assembly and check that the LED illuminates.
- OK:
Battery Connection Specified Condition Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 3
Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 1LED illuminates
If the result is not as specified, replace the rear power window regulator switch assembly (for LH/RH door).
