DOOR LOCK POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL SYSTEM ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK DOOR CONTROL BATTERY OPERATION (w/ Door Control Battery)

After performing the following inspection, perform Initialization.

After the ignition switch is turned off, the door control battery is discharged in at most 30 minutes. The discharge time may be shortened depending on the amount of door control battery charge.
·After the ignition switch is turned ON, the door control battery is charged in at most 90 minutes. The charging time may be shortened depending on the amount of door control battery charge.
Check that all of the doors are locked.
Remove the ECU-DCC NO.2 fuse from the power distribution box assembly.
Turn the ignition switch to ON.
Wait at least 90 seconds before performing the Active Test.
- HINT:

Wait until the door control battery is fully charged.
Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.
- Body Electrical > Main Body > Active Test

Tester Display Measurement Item Control Range Diagnostic Note Collision Door Lock Release Operate door lock motor UNLOCK/LOCK -
Remove the ECU-IGR NO.2 fuse from the power distribution box assembly.
Remove the D/L fuse from the power distribution box assembly.
- HINT:

The front passenger side door can be unlocked and opened before removing the ECU-DCC NO. 2 fuse.
After removing the D/L fuse, perform the Active Test "Collision Door Lock Release" within 20 seconds.
- Body Electrical > Main Body > Active Test

Tester Display Collision Door Lock Release - 50004 449 13
Check that all the doors unlock.
- OK:
All the doors unlock.
If the door lock does not operate properly, refer to How to Proceed with Troubleshooting.
