Inspect the fuses for circuits related to this system before performing the following procedure.

·

Check the operation of the low beam headlights. If the low beam headlights do not operate normally, refer to Problem Symptoms Table.

PROCEDURE

1.PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING GTS
a.

Perform the Active Test according to the display on the GTS.

Disconnect the G169 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.


b.

Disconnect the A62*1 or A110*2 headlight assembly LH connector.


c.

Disconnect the A61*1 or A109*2 headlight assembly RH connector.


d.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:
for SFTM Made

G169-22 (DIM) - A62-4 (HI) Always Below 1 Ω
G169-22 (DIM) or A62-4 (HI) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
