NOTICE:

Perform Power Steering ECU Initial Setting when the rack and pinion power steering gear assembly is replaced.


HINT:

When Power Steering ECU Initial Setting is executed, assist map writing are performed.


a.

Perform Power Steering ECU Initial Setting according to the instructions on the GTS screen.

b.

Clear the vehicle control history (RoB).

Click hereSteering>POWER ASSIST SYSTEMS>POWER STEERING SYSTEM>VEHICLE CONTROL HISTORY


c.

Turn the ignition switch off.

Turn the ignition switch to ON.

Check that vehicle control history (RoB) is not output.

HINT:

If vehicle control history (RoB) is not output, the procedure has been completed normally.
