a.

Inspect the operation of the electrochromic inner rear view mirror assembly.

i.

Connect a positive (+) lead from the auxiliary battery to terminal 1 (IG) and terminal 6 (+B) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 2 (E).


ii.

For digital mirror mode, operate the mode selection lever to switch it to optical mirror mode.


iii.

Attach black colored tape to the forward sensor to prevent it from sensing.

NOTICE:

Clean the forward sensor when detach the black colored tape.



iv.

Press the MENU switch on the selection switch and operate the cursor operation switch to change the mirror surface reflection condition to automatic glare-resistant mode ON (operating condition).


v.

Light up the mirror with an electric light, and check that the mirror surface changes from bright to dark.

OK:

Mirror surface changes from bright to dark.


If the result is not as specified, replace the inner rear view mirror assembly.
