Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination conditions.

OK:
Auxiliary Battery Connection Specified Condition
Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 1 (B)
Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 3 (E) 		Taillight illuminates
Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 2 (B)
Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 3 (E) 		Stop light illuminates


·

If the taillight is not as illuminated, replace the rear combination light assembly LH.

·

If the stop light is not as illuminated, inspect the stop light LED LH.

Auxiliary Battery Connection Specified Condition
Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 1 (B)
Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 3 (E) 		Taillight illuminates
Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 2 (B)
Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 3 (E) 		Stop light illuminates

If the taillight is not as illuminated, replace the rear combination light assembly RH.

·

If the stop light is not as illuminated, inspect the stop light LED RH.
