Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the connector and check the light illumination condition.

OK:

Battery Connection	Specified Condition
Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 2 (B) Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 1 (L)	Illuminates

If the result is not as specified, replace the console box illumination light assembly.
