Hide 76822A 1.INSTALL LOWER BACK DOOR GARNISH MOULDING PROTECTOR (for Type A)

HINT:

When installing the lower back door garnish moulding protector, heat the lower back door outside garnish using a heat light.

a.

When reusing the lower back door outside garnish:

i.

Using a heat light, heat the lower back door outside garnish surface.


ii.

Remove any remaining double-sided tape from the lower back door outside garnish.


iii.

Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner.

NOTICE:
·

Installing the lower back door garnish moulding protector with any double-sided tape remaining may cause poor adhesion. Perform this procedure until the tape is sufficiently removed.

·

Make sure to use a cloth when removing. Using a screwdriver, etc., may cause damage and poor adhesion.

·

Also, clean the surface of the new lower back door outside garnish.





b.

Apply primer to lower back door outside garnish on the installation area of the lower back door garnish moulding protector using a brush or felt.

Let the primer dry sufficiently.

d.

Remove the release paper of the new lower back door garnish moulding protector trying not to touch the adhesional surface.

HINT:

After removing the release paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter.



e.

Align the 7 lower back door garnish moulding protectors with the mark-off line on the lower back door outside garnish and install it as shown in the illustration.
