Check the illumination.

Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the connector and check that the ignition key cylinder light comes on.

OK:
Battery Connection Condition Specified Condition
Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 2 (ILL+)
Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 4 (ILL-) 		Always Ignition key cylinder light comes on


If the result is not as specified, replace the ignition key cylinder light (transponder key coil).
