The ABS motor relay is built into the brake actuator assembly.
When the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly) operates ABS, TRC, VSC, brake hold, or brake assist, the ABS motor relay turns ON and drives the motor pump built into the brake actuator assembly.
| DTC No. | Detection Item | DTC Detection Condition | Trouble Area |
|---|---|---|---|
| C052F14 | ABS Pump Motor Supply Voltage Circuit Short to Ground or Open | ·
When the pump motor is turned off after operating, 0.6 V or more is detected at the pump motor for 0.48 seconds or more. ·
The power supply of the ABS motor relay is less than 5 V for 0.15 seconds or more. |

DTC will be output when conditions for either of the patterns in the table above are met.
After replacing the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly), perform acceleration sensor zero point calibration and store system information memorization.
Before performing troubleshooting, make sure to confirm that the battery voltage is normal.
The system may store DTC C052F14 due to a drop in battery voltage. If a DTC regarding low system supply power voltage is output at the same time, perform troubleshooting for that DTC first.
If the vehicle has stored DTC C052F14 due a drop in battery voltage, it can be cleared by driving the vehicle at a speed of 15 km/h (9 mph) or more for 0.48 seconds or more and then clearing the DTCs using the GTS.
Replace the skid control ECU (brake actuator assembly).
