In accordance with the display of the GTS, check the vehicle control history (RoB).

X8021 Touch Switch Stuck Radio and display receiver assembly is storing history from when a stuck touch switch was detected
1.

Check for foreign objects (foreign matter, film, etc.).

2.

Replace the radio and display receiver assembly.


X8022 Initialization History Radio and display receiver assembly is storing history from when an intended initialization operation was detected
HINT:

Explain to the customer that the radio and display receiver assembly stores a history of an intended initialization operation using the multi-display.


X8030 Soft Update (USB Reading Error) Radio and display receiver assembly is storing history from when a USB memory error was detected
HINT:

Explain to the customer that any of the following could be the cause:

·

There is no update program

·

Memory cannot be read



X8032 Soft Update (Program of Different Model) History of detection of update program error stored by the radio and display receiver assembly
HINT:

Explain to the customer that the update program was judged to be for a different device.


X8033 USB Memory Malfunction (The File System Error) Radio and display receiver assembly is storing history from when a non-compatible file or malfunctioning USB storage device was connected to the No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly Connect a USB storage device with valid files.
HINT:

Explain to the customer that any of the following could be the cause:

·

There was a non-compatible system file

·

USB storage device has invalid FAT system



X8034 USB Memory Malfunction (With No Playable File) Radio and display receiver assembly is storing history from when no playable files on a USB storage device connected to the No. 1 stereo jack adapter assembly was detected Connect a USB storage device that has playable files.
HINT:

Explain to the customer that there were no playable files on the USB storage device.


X803E USB Over Current (Type C) Stores a history that an overcurrent was detected and the power supply to the USB was stopped
·

Check with another cable.

·

Check with another device.

·

Check USB communication signal line wire harness and connector [between radio and display receiver assembly and stereo jack adapter assembly].


HINT:

Explain to the customer that the power supply to the USB may have stopped due to the following causes.

·

Defective connected cable

·

Defective connected device

·

Vehicle side connection terminal that is dirty or has water damage

·

Cable ends are dirty, have water damage or are making contact with other power sources






Clear Vehicle Control History (RoB) (Audio and Visual System)


NOTICE:

By performing this procedure, all stored vehicle control history (RoB) will be cleared.

Using the GTS, select the vehicle control history (Rob).

Select the clear button and the clear vehicle control history (RoB) in accordance with the screen.
