Engage the 4 claws to install the No. 1 heater control sub-assembly to the heater control cable sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

HINT:

Before installing the No. 1 heater control sub-assembly, align the alignment mark of the dial side with the alignment mark of the cable side as shown in the illustration.

Engage the 4 claws to install the No. 3 heater control sub-assembly to the air mix damper control cable sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.

HINT:

Before installing the No. 3 heater control sub-assembly, align the alignment mark of the dial side with the alignment mark of the cable side as shown in the illustration.

3.INSTALL NO. 2 HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Mechanical Control Type)

Engage the 2 claws to install the No. 2 heater control sub-assembly to center instrument panel safety pad retainer as shown in the illustration.

4.INSTALL CENTER INSTRUMENT PANEL SAFETY PAD RETAINER WITH HEATER CONTROL (for Mechanical Control Type)

Engage the 4 claws as shown in the illustration.

b.

Connect the 4 connectors.

c.

Engage the 4 clips to install the center instrument panel safety pad retainer with heater control.
